I booked two (2) tickets for adults and one (1) optional 10% off on food & merchandise (which I'm planning to use on food only, hihih), and pickup is in SM Mega Mall at 8:15 AM.

Payment Options

  • Credit card via PayPal
  • Bank deposit.
If you prefer bank deposit or do not have credit card like I am, call their landline
  • Subic Office: +63 (47) 252-9000
  • Manila Office: +63 (2) 706-3344 to 46

I called their Manila office and told me that they will relay it to their Subic office and will respond to me via e-mail. I got their response after few hours with the correct details I gave via phone except that it does not include the 10% off on food & merchandise.

The next day, they sent the SOA (Statement of Account) with all correct tickets and the bank accounts where I can deposit. After I deposit, I sent them an image of the deposit slip and after few hours, they called me and confirm my payment. They sent me a text message with the details and contact of the driver who will pick us up.

Subic: Ocean Adventure

Exactly 8:15 AM we left SM Mega Mall via van and we arrived at the Ocean Adventure around 12:00 Noon.  At the ticket booth, I presented my valid ID for confirmation and they gave me all the ticket including the ones to be used in Camayan Beach Resort.

TIP: Eat meryenda/lunch outside because food is NOT allowed inside.

Ocean Adventure

Dolphin Tales Show

Dolphin show with a twist. That’s how I describe it. At first, I thought that I’ll just watch the Dolphins show off their amazing talents but it became more interesting and entertaining because they added an act on it.

They also offer picture taking and swim with the dolphin at a cost.

Sea Lion Marine Patrol Show

Another entertaining and funny show. Two sea lions came out and show there unique skills. One sea lion was instructed many times to dive and jump out of the water to splash water in the audience siting nearby.

Sea Lion Photo Encounter

Included in the Adventure Express ticket is this free photo encounter with the Sea Lion. You can hug it and it can kiss you in the cheek, yes, a kiss.

Other entertainments:

Zoo keepers with their pets at Walk on the Wild Side Show
A starfish at Ocean Discovery Aquarium
Due to limited time and we prefer to do kayaking and snorkel, we skipped Balancing Act featuring the African Acrobats from Kenya then proceed to Camayan Beach Resort which is just a walk-away from Ocean Adventure. I was not aware that SeaTrek Aquarium is included in the package and I didn't notice it either when we're still inside.

Subic: Camayan Beach Resort

We moved from Ocean Adventure to Camayan Beach Resort at around 3:00 PM.
In the entrance, I gave the ticket from Ocean Adventure and they assigned us to cabana #12. After having some snacks, we didn't waste time and hit the beach immediately.
I don't have pictures taken during our swimming as I don't have water proof camera yet. :)

Snorkeling

We started the snorkeling at around 4:00 PM, unfortunately, the life jacket that I rented was too big for my size making it harder for me to swim as it makes my body flat at the top of water, but after some practice, it became easier to swim.
I was amazed when I already saw fishes even if we are only 6-8 meters away from the shore. Because I’m expecting that we need to go further just to see those fascinating creatures. Another good thing is, the swimming area even with fishes and some corals is enclosed with nets so you will not be scared swimming too far.

TIP: rent snorkel gears earlier as some sizes may be taken already. At least, if your life jacket is too big and you're not comfortable, you can come back again later.

Kayak

At 5:00 PM, we returned the snorkeling gears and tried the kayak.
Kayaks are allowed only outside the safety net.
It's already getting dark and the other guys in kayak are already returning so we just had one ride until the end of the net and turn back. It was still an awesome ride because the wave we're so calm which makes it much easier to paddle.

The Reef Restaurant

Sunset and seaside view from The Reef Restaurant
After a very tiring day, the best way to end your trip is to eat sumptuous foods. As planned, we hit the Reef Restaurant which is near the beach making it a perfect spot for couples. It is very romantic especially at sunset while enjoying your food.

Here are the list of the foods we tried:
  • Seafood Kare-kare
  • Kinilaw na Tanige
  • Buttered Chicken
  • Mashed potato
  • Mixed vegies
  • Four-seasons
In total, it was P1,260.00 so I gave additional P260 on top of my P1,000.00 food/merchandise stub.

Departure

At 7:30 PM we left Subic and arrived in Manila at 11:00 PM.
